We start to see those chubby, cute little cupids around this time of the year as St. Valentine's Day approaches. They are cute, but hopefully they don't detract from God's wonderful creation, angels!

God created the angels as spirits. They don't have bodies, but they do have understanding and free will. God gave them great wisdom, power and holiness. The angels in heaven see, love and adore God. Angels pray for us, act as messengers from God to us and act as our guardian angels.

Would you like to learn more about angels? Your parish library has books and movies for all ages. Right now, they are on the special shelf right in the middle of the library.

Come in and check them out! Remember, the library door is left unlocked, so anytime the church is open, you are welcome to come in and browse. A self-checkout sheet is on the desk.
