During the past few weeks, 13 of the 16 air conditioning and heating units were replaced in the Community Center.
These units were more than 20 years old and were replaced with more energy efficient models that church leaders anticipate will result in a substantial utility cost savings.
Additionally, the church qualified for an ONCOR grant program, which drastically reduced the cost of the new units.
More improvements are scheduled to enhance the facilities and result in a more user-friendly environment.
