The Diocese of Fort Worth has a number of Marriage Preparation Programs available for engaged couples as they prepare for their wedding and sacramental marriage. A one-day or two-evening experience for engaged couples to begin their formal marriage preparation process. The class includes a series of talks and activities on topics such as: Marriage as a Sacrament, the Vows, Sexuality in marriage as God planned it to be, Natural Family Planning and more. The one day Saturday classes are from 8:30am – 5:00pm and the evening classes are from 6:30pm-9:30pm both nights (both nights are required).CANA-TWO:
A marriage preparation program designed specifically for couples with one or both parties entering into a second marriage. The Catholic Church recognizes the unique needs and challenges two people in a second marriage will have. The Church wants to help you develop and deepen those qualities which promote the life-long, loving relationship necessary for Christian sacramental marriage.TODAY-TOMORROW-FOREVER
A preparation for married couples planning to have their marriage validated or sanated in the Church. Topics include: Marriage as a Sacrament, Commitment, Communication, Conflict Resolution, and Intimacy. This day of enrichment helps a married couple discover more about themselves and their spouses and provides an opportunity to discuss hopes, expectations and dreams for their on-going life together.

Natural Family Planning (NFP) provides information to assist a couple in understanding and appreciating their fertility. NFP is the practice of observing and charting a woman’s specific fertility signs to determine accurately when a woman is fertile or infertile. NFP helps identify a woman’s fertile times to assist in achieving or avoiding pregnancy. NFP is up to 99% effective in spacing births. For more information and registration please contact:
ENGAGED ENCOUNTER: Engaged Encounter is a weekend retreat designed to help couples examine the life-long commitment they are making to one another. The weekend provides engaged couples time to talk honestly about their hopes, fears, goals, and feelings, and to better understand the rich meaning of Christian marriage. The weekend is presented by a team of married couples and a chaplain and lasts from Friday evening to around noon on Sunday. For more information and registration please contact:
