This year we offered a 2-week Summer Intensive program that, yes, had a textbook curriculum and classroom instruction, but was not the traditional, rigid lessons.
During the first week, their catechists incorporated games, music, movement and even outdoor activities as the group learned about their faith.
The children who participated in this year's inaugural program even experienced three sacraments in one day!
Those who complete the Summer Intensive Program do not attend the Sunday morning Faith Formation from Sept. 2012-May, 2013.
