I will be adding NEW volunteer training shortly.
In order to ensure the best possible awareness session, we suggest that there needs to be at least 5-6 participants so that there may be fruitful conversation and a helpful exchange of ideas. When there are fewer than five (5) participants, it is often difficult to engage the group in conversation or to generate enough participation from individuals.
We will reschedule or cancel the class no less than 24 hours before it is scheduled, sending out an email notice.
NO CHILDREN are allowed in the Awareness Session. No Child Care is available.
Once the session begins, no late arrivals will be allowed.

Completion of the new Safe Environment Protecting God’s Children for Adults awareness session must be completed by all Clergy, Religious, Lay Employees and Volunteers by September 2020, regardless of when they may have previously completed their safe environment certification.

Effective immediately, Safe Environment certification is required to be renewed every 2 years by all Clergy, Religious, Lay Employees and Volunteers.
Prior to the start of service all Clergy, Religious, Lay Employees and Volunteers are required to fulfill all mandatory steps, have an acceptable criminal background check and must successfully complete the required ongoing training as a condition of continued employment or volunteer/ministry service.
Safe Environment Certification for Employees and Adult Volunteers is required prior to serving in Ministry and must be renewed every two years.
Initial or Renewal Safe Environment Certification currently requires attendance at a live and in person (“face-to-face”) Safe Environment Awareness Session (”Protecting God’s Children For Adults”) and requires a virtus profile.
Safe Environment Certification for the Diocese of Fort Worth is no longer offered “online” and is now only offered in person.
NO CHILDREN are allowed in the Awareness Session. No Child Care is available.
Once the session begins, no late arrivals will be allowed.
